The topsheet is spun from sugarcane-derived PLA fibre, the same plant-based material used in absorbable sutures. It is smooth by structure: no lint, no pilling, no plastic crinkle.

Cotton holds fluid against your skin, which is why natural pads can feel damp within the hour. Bio-Silk™ is hydrophobic by structure, so fluid moves down into the core instead of staying on top.

The surface

Lab-tested at pH 4.5, the acidic level healthy intimate skin keeps on its own. Menstrual fluid and lochia are alkaline; the topsheet helps support that natural balance, with no fragrance.

The core
Plant-based absorbent beads hold 34x their weight. The XXL Overnight 420 mm pad has over 500 ml of lab-verified capacity; Heavy Flow 290 mm holds 320 ml.

About the material
Is Bio-Silk™ organic?
No. Bio-Silk™ is sugarcane-derived PLA fibre, not cotton, so it isn't certified organic cotton. It is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified and made without chlorine bleaching, fragrance, dyes or petroleum plastics.
What does "17x drier" mean?
In independent lab testing, the surface of VIVILI pads measured 17 times drier than organic cotton pads after absorption.
Is it real silk?
No. Bio-Silk™ is our name for the silk-smooth PLA fibre in the topsheet. It contains no animal silk.
